ABOUT ME
Welcome to my ePortfolio! I am an honors student at Lane Community College, and I live in western Oregon. I was, originally, going to school to study to become a veterinary technician, as I love animals and it brings me satisfaction to help them feel better and have a longer and healthier existence. I have owned a total of 10 rats in my lifetime, all of which inspired me to pursue the veterinary field to further improve medical care for rodents and small animals. However, after the passing of my first rat, I quickly realized I wasn't cut out for that field of work. I spent most of my high school education building up to a veterinarian job field, so that realization left me lost.
I spent the last term of high school exploring my options for further education and other jobs I might be interested in. It wasn't until I took personal finance that I had an epiphany: business. Business laws, banking, and management were some of my favorite topics, so I decided to enroll at LCC to pursue an associates degree in Business Management, and I later decided to specialize in Human Resources Management because of my interest in psychology and managing people. College has been one of my favorite life experiences, as I love learning and I want to make the most of my education. I work hard to maintain good grades and I am currently enrolled and participating in he Lane Honor's Program, and I hope to graduate with a 3.0 GPA with honors in 2021.
